The Fitting Process

  • Step 1 – Before Your Visit

    I’ll ask for your foot size, width, strength, injury history, and past shoe experiences so I can prepare the best options in advance.

  • Step 2 – Foot & Technique Assessment

    I will examine your foot and arch shape, discuss your goals, and explore ways to improve on previous shoes. I am experienced with all foot types—from high arches to those who feel they have “not very good feet.”

  • Step 3 – Collaboration

    Ballet teachers are welcome to join. I am happy for you to get their approval before purchasing.

  • Step 4 – First-Time Pointe Guidance

    If it’s your first time, I'll explain how pointe shoes work, manage expectations around pressure and balance, and show you how to sew ribbons, elastics, and break in your shoes.

  • Step 5 – Honest, Brand-Neutral Advice

    I don’t favour any brand and will source from my range—or help you find the right shoe elsewhere—because the perfect fit matters more than where you buy it.
